QUESTIONS from patients
Braces handle complex bite corrections and significant tooth movement more predictably, and they work regardless of whether you remember to wear them. Invisalign is removable and far less visible, which suits adults and responsible teens, but it only works if the aligners are actually worn. We will assess your bite and tell you which is realistic for your case.
Around age 7. That is early enough that we can still guide jaw growth if needed, which is not possible later. An assessment does not mean treatment starts immediately. Often the answer is to monitor and act at the right moment.
It varies with how much movement is needed, but most cases run somewhere between 12 and 24 months. We will give you a realistic estimate after assessing your bite, not a number designed to sound appealing.
No. Teeth move at any age. A large share of orthodontic patients are adults, and both braces and Invisalign work perfectly well on a healthy adult mouth. What matters is the health of your gums and bone, not your birthday.
Braces start at $6,500. Invisalign starts at $3,500 for early-age treatment and $5,000 for straightforward cases. Invisalign can be spread over weekly payments from $52 a week, and we arrange payment plans in house rather than through a finance company. Whatever the plan, the full amount is agreed before treatment begins so there are no surprise charges partway through.

If we need X-rays or a full examination to give you a firm diagnosis and treatment plan, that becomes a standard exam appointment and we will tell you before we start.
