Your Tooth Replacement Care

Rebuilding a Confident, Functional Smile

Missing or badly damaged teeth affect more than appearance, they can shift your bite, strain your jaw, and make eating difficult. We assess your case and recommend the option that best restores comfort and function.

When a tooth’s nerve is infected, root canal therapy can often save it, avoiding extraction altogether.

Your Options

Bridges, Dentures, Implants & Root Canals

Bridges & Dentures

Fixed bridges replace one or more missing teeth using neighboring teeth for support; full or partial dentures offer a removable option for multiple missing teeth.

Implants & Root Canals

Implants replace the tooth root itself for the most permanent, natural-feeling solution; root canal therapy removes infection to save a tooth that would otherwise be lost.

Signs you may need tooth replacement or a root canal:

Missing tooth or teeth

Loose or shifting teeth

Persistent tooth pain

Sensitivity to hot or cold

Difficulty chewing

Swelling near a tooth

QUESTIONS from patients

Frequently Asked Questions

It comes down to how many teeth are missing, where they are, the health of the bone underneath and your budget. A bridge uses the neighbouring teeth as anchors. A partial denture is removable and the most affordable. An implant is a standalone replacement and generally the longest lasting. We will go through all three with you rather than steering you to one.

The neighbouring teeth tend to drift into the gap and the opposing tooth can over-erupt, which changes how your bite meets. Over time that affects chewing and can make later treatment more complicated. It also affects facial support if several teeth are missing.

Partial dentures typically need remaking every five to ten years. Bridges commonly last 10 to 15 years. Implants can last 20 years or more with good hygiene, and many last a lifetime.

Usually partially, and coverage varies widely by plan, particularly for implants. We will check your plan and give you the numbers before you decide.
