The number one question we hear from patients considering implants is what it is actually going to cost. Here is the honest answer.

Fees follow the 2026 Alberta Dental Fee Guide where applicable. We direct bill most insurance plans.
Your implant, start to finish
You will know what happens at every stage before we start.
We scan your jaw, check your gums and bone, and walk you through your options and the full price in writing.
The post is placed using a surgical guide made from your scan. You choose freezing or sedation, whichever keeps you comfortable.
Once the bone has fused to the post, we fit a custom crown shaped and
shaded to match the teeth beside it.

comfort & oral sedation
Most people are more nervous about the surgery than they need to be. Implant placement is usually shorter and quieter than patients expect, and it is done with the area completely frozen. If you would rather not be aware of any of it, Dr. Brendan Lee provides oral sedation options and will talk you through what suits you.

You arrive, we review the plan and answer any last questions.
The area is frozen, or oral sedation is started if you have chosen it.
The implant is placed through a small opening using your surgical guide.
You go home the same day with clear aftercare instructions.
We check in the next day and see you for a short
follow up.

QUESTIONS from patients
From $4,499 all in for a straightforward single tooth, covering the scan, the surgery and the crown. More complex cases, including those needing bone grafting or sinus work, cost more, and we will tell you the number after assessing you rather than quoting one figure and revising it later.
Dr. Brendan Lee places implants here in our office, so the 3D scan, the surgery and the crown all happen in one place with one team. Oral sedation is available if you would rather be more relaxed for the procedure.
Most people are, provided there is enough healthy bone to hold the implant and your gums are in good condition. Smoking, uncontrolled diabetes and certain medications affect healing. A 3D scan tells us definitively rather than us guessing from an X-ray.
Several months, most of which is waiting rather than appointments. The implant needs to fuse with the bone before the crown goes on, which typically takes three to six months. The surgery itself is a single visit.
With good hygiene and regular checkups, 20 years or more, and often a lifetime. The crown on top may need replacing sooner than the implant itself.
Coverage varies widely and many plans cover implants only partially or not at all. We will check your specific plan and tell you the real out-of-pocket figure before you commit.
